The model of thrombus growth in non-newtonian fluid flow

Quasistationary flow of viscous non-newtonian fluid about axisymmetric obstacle was examined. A numerical scheme for solving the problem had been developed. The realization of the latter scheme was combined with convection accounting reaction-diffusion system program. Important differences were found in the scenarios of clot formation in the cases of newtonian and non-newtonian fluid.
