On the stability of difference schemes with nonlocal boundary relations

A difference scheme with nonlocal boundary relations is considered in the present report. The scheme approximates a heat problem, which has been studied earlier. In particular, the initial data stability is proved for the heat problem.

The initial data stability of the difference scheme is the main result of the report. A special grid norm and corresponding stability criteria are obtained. The properties of this grid norm are studied. It is proved that the norm is equivalent to grid mean square norm with constants, which are independent of grid parameters.
