This work opens a new stage microanalysis pendulum Labour Migration (MTM) of the population, is to use geoinfomatsionnoy (GIS) processing of micro-data. This provides a unique new GIS information, the analysis of which, in combination with other micro-data allows analysis of MTM raise to a new level in order to address a number of practical and theoretical problems.

The proposed GIS analysis of micro-data allows us to make a comparative analysis of the behavior of groups of MTM, formed by sex, age and income. We investigated the characteristics of the pendulum Labour Migration (MTM) Moscow residents on individual characteristics of workers: sex, age and income. Study of individual specific MTM was made possible by the definition of the range and duration of the home-work trips of more than 700 thousand employees with GIS analysis of micro-data. On average, commuters passing suburbs 50 km, spending on the road 1 hour each way. It was established the equality of women and men with regard to the duration and length of the MTM-trips. At the same time, pay for women is almost 20% lower. Analysis of the data shows that the most durable and long drives make workers 22-30 years old, with age mobility decreases. In addition, according to the results, highly skilled workers with higher wages on average travel further and longer. We emphasize that a study of this kind in the Russian data was first implemented, and GIS techniques for the analysis of MTM is a pioneer and is used for the first time in the world on a database of this size.
