The kinetics of the tumor development (weight, volume etc.) are described mathematically (the power law, the exponential function and the extreme functions). The life spans of animals with leucosis are described by Gompertz function. Various kinetic criteria of a quantitative evaluation of the antitumor activity of physico-chemical agents are analysed. The obtained data is concerned with different aspects of critical phenomena occurring during transplantation of experimental tumors are discussed. The feasibility of the kinetic approach for studying tumor growth is demonstrated.
