Course of higher mathematics for remote training

Our university has good computer and telecommunication equipment for introduction of remote formation (education), and is practically ready to this. Teachers of our university have developed electronic course on many disciplines.

Methodological problems of representation of the maintenance (contents) of a teaching material, for today, are one of principal causes of break between potential and real opportunities of application of telecommunication and information technologies in formation (education). And the sanction of these problems considerably is late in relation to prompt growth of development of multimedia and telecommunication technologies. Creation of an electronic course or the textbook, demands from the teacher in the methodical plan of high professional and information competence, knowledge in the field of pedagogic, psychology, computer science, mathematics, the creative approach to representation of a teaching material.

The electronic course of higher mathematics developed by us contains great volume of a theoretical material which contains all basic offers of a traditional course with use of unique opportunities of modern information technologies, and will consist of separate structural units - modules.

The maintenance (contents) of each structural unit is systematized: increasing complexity of a statement of scientific concepts; integrity; interrelation between structural units; an interlinking of a theoretical material to a package of practical, individual works, tests control and for self-checking; an opportunity of multilevel studying of the given material; an opportunity of training of skills; an opportunity of self-checking of knowledge. It promotes revealing of a material which has caused difficulties, both on theoretical, and at an empirical level of knowledge, and enables various representations of the maintenance (contents) of a teaching material depending on a speciality trained. The maintenance (contents) of a teaching material corresponds (meets) to requirements of the educational standard, keeps fundamentality and integrity of the maintenance (contents), provides a necessary level of knowledge, the skills stipulated by the standard of formation (education).

The electronic course of higher mathematics can be used with the methodical, training, supervising, educational, fact-finding purpose, teachers, students of remote, internal and correspondence forms of training, all interested persons, both at remote training, and at traditional lessons.

The electronic course of higher mathematics constructed thus represents pedagogical technology which promotes increase of efficiency and quality of formation (education).
