On the base of hypothesis about different plant cold resistance mechanisms in response to long-term and short-term (periodical) effects of low temperature, the existence of two constituents of cold resistance: aperiodic (adaptive) and periodic (resonance) resistance is assumed. Mathematical model was constructed and optimised.
