Using the Immunological Model for an Estimation of Efficiency of Purification of Gas-Air Mixture from Volatile Nitrosoamines and Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons

Efficiency of purification of gas-air mixture from polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and volatile nitrosoamines is estimated based on influence of this mixture condensates on the initial rate of spontaneous proliferation of donor peripheral blood lymphocytes. The mitogenic effect of gas-air mixture condensates was estimated according to 3H-thymidine incorporation into lymphocytes cultivated in media containing condensate of condensate of gas-air mixture. Rate of spontaneous proliferation of lymphocytes is closely correlated to the content of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and volatile nitrosoamines in the investigated samples of gas-air mixtures. On the basis of these data the conclusion about an opportunity of use of immunological model for an estimation of efficiency of purification of gas-air mixture from volatile nitrosoamines and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons is made
