Diagnostic capabilities of the method of electrocardiogram wavelet spectra topological classification

The assortment of personal devices for monitoring the myocardium functionality increases with each passing year. In this regard, the development of new effective methods of real-time ECG diagnostics of cardiac disorders has got a special significance.

In the report the developed method of ECG-processing based on the analysis of the topological properties of ECG wavelet spectra [1,2] will be introduced. The results of an evaluation of its diagnostic capabilities are presented on the material of ECG records of healthy patients and patients with various diagnoses. ECG records of patients observed in the clinic and ECG from the database PhysioNet [3] were analyzed for this study. Promising directions of further research will be discussed.
