High school is in the process of finding ways to adapt to new situation in educational sphere. This is a result of rapid growth of information needed for students, its content and structure. New economic programs, which are initiated during last years, call into question the importance of the traditional basic subjects such as mathematics. The task is to improve teaching effectiveness not mechanically by reducing hours of lessons but qualitatively by searching for new methods of teaching.

One of the important problems is the psychology of students. Reduction of time for mathematics course and decrease in school educational level cause a sense of hopelessness during training among students. As a result, it questioned the usefulness of the mathematics course, as a non-core in program. Therefore, our task is not only to teach mathematics, but also to dispel doubts and to convince that mathematics helps to develop educational and working skills, which are important in any job.

Thus, arisen a need of practical tutorial that takes into account decline in mathematical level of schoolchildren and, therefore, first-year students. In this tutorial should be a large amount of simple tests what will convince students that mathematics could be understandable and also applied in practice.

The tutorial is a part of the educational mathematics complex. It outlines the basic concepts and methods of mathematical analysis, analytical geometry and linear algebra. It also includes tests for self-study, answers, control tests and variants of exams at the end of each topic. The tutorial contains lecture notes with systematic topics of theory and mathematical methods used in the economy. The second part of the tutorial contains tests for classroom and self-study gathered by the principle of the solutions, which greatly facilitates the self-study. Bachelors of all economic spheres, who are interested in using mathematical methods to analyze models of social and economic processes, can use the tutorial.
