Solitary waves, commonly called solitons, are the subject of intense theoretical and experimental research in many different fields of science, including fluid dynamics, nonlinear optics, plasma physics and biology. In this work we represent a numerical simulation of the formation and dynamics of a solitary wave in a channel with a stationary liquid under the action of a continuous wind, forming multiple distributed across the channel sources. Numerical simulation results are comparable with the experimental data. Proposed in the mathematical model to derive not only the formation of a solitary wave and the interaction of two solitary waves, but also get more interesting facts, such as separation of the waves from the main body, which is a common situation in nature.
