Mathematical modeling of the zooplankton (rotifer) population dynamics in two adjacent habitats under different environmental conditions is simulated mathematically. The zooplankton biomass exchange can lead to the replacement of regular plankton dynamics by chaotic ones. In this case, synchronization of chaotic plankton oscillations takes place.
